Remember that validation doesn't end with the validator (Yes it does, conformance checking doesn't though). Take this quiz to see if you can spot some mistakes that make a document invalid (its valid! It doesn't conform to the spec (so its wrong), but as it does conform to the DTD - it is valid.) even though the validator doesn't notice anything wrong (detailed answers available).
