Check My Blog Design

I made the following sample design:

It has a display problem with the links in the top right hand corner, only in Internet Explorer 6. When you mouseover the links, there is no hover effect, and also the links are not clickable (they do not function as links).

The problem is that DIV.middle is overlapping the DIV.right, and in IE (apparently) the float is falling behind the DIV.middle. Your DIV.middle had a transparent background, so it wasn't obvious that that was the case. I'm not sure if this is a bug in IE (z-index didn't fix the issue). Can someone else contribute here? Stripped down Site Check / Sands Of Time/linkFloat.html test case. -- Jeremy Dunck
Hello Jeremy, thanks for your feedback and stripped down test-case. I still have not been able to isolate the problem. I have several similar layouts at Blog Your Design which work okay in IE. So, I am not sure what it is. Should I post this to the css-discuss list? Thanks again for your help. -- Jay At Csky

This problem does not occur in Netscape 7 or Opera 7. The page does seem to validate.

Please help, if you know why the links do not work in Internet Explorer 6. Thanks in advance.
